4. Handprints, Palm Images, and Educational Publications

Hand analysis is a central part of Ascension17's educational work.

Company maintains a professional archive of handprints and palm images collected through its hand-analysis practice over many years.

Educational and Professional Use

Where authorized by an applicable client agreement, release, or other valid legal permission, Company may use handprints and palm images in books, educational programs, professional training, public speeches, conferences, online videos, websites, presentations, and other educational publications.

Where the applicable authorization permits, Company may use those materials without obtaining separate approval for every individual publication or presentation.

Confidentiality

Company takes reasonable steps to protect client confidentiality by excluding names, contact information, and other directly identifying personal details from educational examples, unless their disclosure is separately authorized or otherwise legally permitted.

Although identifying information may be removed, handprints can contain distinctive physical characteristics and may not be completely anonymous.

Historical Handprint Archive

Materials collected under previous client agreements remain governed by the permissions and restrictions established by those agreements and applicable law.

This Privacy Policy does not retroactively expand or eliminate those permissions.

New Handprint Submissions

Retention

Handprints may be retained as part of Company's professional educational archive, subject to applicable agreements, privacy rights, and legal obligations.

Company does not sell identifiable handprints as standalone biometric datasets or intentionally provide them for unrelated identity verification or surveillance purposes.

5. Soul Compass AI, Personalization, and Conversation Privacy

Soul Compass AI provides personalized spiritual education, self-reflection, astrological insights, and interactive guidance through Alice and other AI-assisted features.

Information We Collect and Store

Soul Compass stores member conversations, personal reflections, account information, and uploaded member files in its own Google Firebase database and storage environment.

Information may include conversation history, personal goals, preferences, spiritual reflections, astrological birth information, and other content voluntarily submitted by members.

We use this information to operate the service, maintain continuity between interactions, personalize experiences, and provide requested educational features.

AI Technology Providers

Soul Compass's primary account records are stored in its Google Firebase database and file storage. Relevant information is also sent to AI providers for processing, as described below.
Soul Compass uses third-party artificial intelligence services to process information and generate responses. These currently include:
- OpenRouter, which routes Alice's conversations to an AI model, currently DeepSeek. If that model is unavailable, OpenRouter may route a request to a backup model, such as Google Gemini or Qwen, under the same settings.
- Google Gemini, which processes text from Alice conversations to help find relevant teaching material, and supports Living Memory summaries and other reflection features.
AI providers and models may change as the service develops.
When a member uses an AI-powered feature, relevant information may be transmitted to the applicable provider for processing. The information transmitted depends on the feature being used.

Astrological Personalization

Alice may use a member's date of birth, time of birth, birthplace, and associated astrological information to provide personalized educational guidance and spiritual reflections.

This information may be combined with conversation history and other voluntarily submitted information to support continuity and personalization.

Relevant information may be processed by AI providers when necessary to deliver these features.

Access to Private Conversations
Private Alice conversations and a member's Living Memory are private to that member. They are not accessible to practitioners, including through practitioner accounts.
Human administrative access to Soul Compass's back end is limited to its authorized developer. Automated services and authorized maintenance tools also operate under configured permissions.
Human administrative access is used only when reasonably necessary for system maintenance, troubleshooting, security, or responding to legitimate privacy requests.
We continue to strengthen access controls to protect member privacy.

AI Model Training

Our OpenRouter settings disable training and optional prompt logging, and each request restricts routing to providers that do not train on the submitted information, including backup models. Our direct Gemini features use Google's paid service, which does not use prompts or responses to improve its products.
We seek to limit unnecessary retention of information by AI providers through available technical settings and contractual protections. Providers may retain information for security, abuse prevention, or legal purposes.

Member Controls and Deletion Requests

Members can use available account features to reset conversations, delete certain entries, and view, download, or delete the information Alice remembers ("Living Memory"). Turning off Living Memory (the Mentor Analysis setting) stops new memory collection and updates; it does not erase information already remembered. Members can delete existing Living Memory using "Release everything." Deleting Living Memory does not delete conversation history or other account information.

These functions may affect different categories of information and do not necessarily delete every related record, backup, or provider-held copy.
Members may also contact Company to request deletion of their account and associated personal information. Full account deletion is not self-service. Verified requests are coordinated manually by the authorized developer, including confirming any renewal cancellation, arranging deletion, and confirming completion, subject to applicable legal obligations and retention exceptions. We encourage members to download their Living Memory before deletion. If paid membership time remains, access continues until the paid period ends, after which deletion is completed. Otherwise, deletion is completed promptly.

Once account deletion is completed, the account and its personal content are no longer accessible in Soul Compass. There is no member recovery option. Remaining soft-deleted copies of uploaded files expire within seven days of their deletion from storage and are not restored.
Payment providers and Company's business records remain the financial records of authority. Soul Compass retains limited billing identifiers and statuses, deletion records, and security markers needed to prevent duplicate processing or recreation of deleted accounts. These retained records do not contain conversation or reflection content. Records that practitioners keep outside Soul Compass are not part of the Soul Compass account and are handled separately.

Confidentiality and Security

We do not intentionally publish members' private Alice conversations or personal reflections without appropriate authorization.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect member information. However, no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.

Members should avoid submitting passwords, payment card details, government identification numbers, or other information unnecessary for the service.

Soul Compass AI is intended for spiritual education and personal reflection. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate and should not be relied upon as professional medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice.

6. Payments, Subscriptions, and Billing

We use third-party commerce, subscription, and payment services to manage purchases and billing.

These services may include Simplero, SamCart, and payment processors associated with those platforms.

Depending on the transaction, these providers may process names, contact information, billing details, payment information, purchase records, and subscription status.

Company may retain transaction histories and accounting records as necessary for customer support, contractual obligations, taxes, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Soul Compass subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled according to the applicable subscription terms.

For complete purchase, renewal, and cancellation conditions, please review our Terms of Use & Purchase and the disclosures presented at checkout.

7. Email Marketing and Communications

We may send newsletters, educational content, event invitations, product announcements, and other marketing communications to subscribers and customers where permitted by law.

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link included in those messages or by contacting us.

Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not necessarily stop transactional or service-related communications, such as receipts, account notices, program information, or security alerts.

Email service providers may process information necessary to deliver messages and measure engagement, subject to their applicable practices and legal requirements.

8. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and measure the effectiveness of marketing.

Depending on the services enabled, these technologies may collect device identifiers, browsing activity, referral information, and interactions with website content.

Some analytics or advertising services may receive information about visits to our websites.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notices, consent options, or mechanisms to exercise privacy choices.

You may also manage certain cookies through your browser settings, although disabling necessary cookies may affect website functionality.

9. Private Sessions, Group Programs, and Recordings

Participants may share personal information during private sessions, educational programs, group office hours, workshops, or retreats.

We use that information to provide the requested services and related support.

Some sessions or educational events may be recorded for training, replay, or program delivery purposes.

Where recordings are made, participants will receive appropriate notice, and consent will be obtained when required by law.

Company will take reasonable steps to limit access to recordings containing private participant information.

Participants are expected to respect the confidentiality of others, but Company cannot guarantee that other group participants will maintain confidentiality.

10. When We Share Information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and other parties when reasonably necessary for business operations or legally permitted purposes.

Examples include:

  • Website hosting and technology providers.

  • Course and membership platforms.

  • Payment processors and billing services.

  • Email marketing and customer communication platforms.

  • Scheduling and video-conferencing services.

  • AI technology and infrastructure providers.

  • Contractors or authorized team members providing customer support or educational services.

  • Professional advisers, including accountants and legal counsel.

  • Government authorities or other parties when disclosure is legally required.

Service providers may process information according to their contractual obligations and applicable privacy practices.

Technology and AI Service Providers

We use third-party technology providers to operate Soul Compass and related services. These include Google Firebase and Google Cloud for member data storage and account services, Vercel for application hosting, OpenRouter for AI model routing, DeepSeek for Alice's current conversational AI processing (with backup models such as Google Gemini or Qwen used only if the primary model is unavailable), and Google Gemini for teaching-material search based on Alice conversation text, Living Memory summaries, and other reflection features.

We also use payment services, including SamCart, Simplero, and Stripe, and may incorporate third-party maps (including Google Maps and an OpenStreetMap place-name lookup), embedded videos (including YouTube), or other interactive content.

These providers receive or process information according to their functions, applicable agreements, and privacy and security requirements. Some providers may process information outside the United States.

We do not authorize AI providers to use members' private conversations for model training under our configured service arrangements.

We may also disclose information with your permission, to protect legitimate legal rights, or as part of a lawful business restructuring or transfer.

We do not sell our customer email lists as standalone marketing databases.

Certain advertising or analytics disclosures may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under specific privacy laws, even where no money is exchanged. Any required notices and opt-out rights will be provided according to applicable law.

11. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and our business operations.

These may include access controls, account protections, security measures provided by our technology platforms, and restrictions on unnecessary access.

However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Users should protect their account credentials and notify us promptly if they suspect unauthorized access.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information for periods reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and exercise rights established by applicable agreements.

Retention periods vary according to the type of information and its purpose.

For example:

  • Transaction and accounting records may be retained for legally required business and tax purposes.

  • Membership and account records may be retained while necessary for service administration and legitimate recordkeeping.

  • Educational materials and authorized handprint archives may be retained for extended periods, subject to applicable agreements and privacy law.

  • Soul Compass AI conversation history, reflections, and Living Memory are retained in the member's account to support continuity until the member deletes them or requests account deletion. Eligible application event records are automatically removed after approximately 90 days, and temporary operational diagnostic records after approximately seven days. These schedules do not describe hosting-provider logs or practitioner records. AI prompt-debug logging is disabled.

  • Support communications may be retained as necessary for service history, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we will delete, de-identify, or otherwise manage it in accordance with applicable law and operational requirements.

Soul Compass Data Deletion

Soul Compass members may reset their conversations, delete certain personal entries, and view, download, or delete the information Alice remembers through available account controls. These actions may not remove all associated account records or information retained in backups or by service providers. Members may request deletion of their account and associated personal information by contacting Cynthia Clark LLC. Full account deletion is not self-service; verified requests are coordinated manually as described in Section 5, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. Payment providers and Company's business records remain the financial records of authority.

13. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Request access to personal information we maintain about you.

  • Request correction of inaccurate information.

  • Request deletion of certain personal information.

  • Request information about categories of information collected or disclosed.

  • Opt out of certain advertising-related uses or disclosures.

We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
