I Know What It’s Like to Override Yourself

For years, I put other people’s needs ahead of my own.

I said yes when something inside me was saying no. I worried about disappointing people. I worked harder, gave more, and became very good at listening to what everyone else needed from me. The problem wasn’t that I didn’t have inner guidance.

I had stopped trusting it.

My journey has taught me that the answers we’re searching for are often already within us. Sometimes we simply need the right mirror to help us see what we’ve been unable—or unwilling—to see.

That realization changed my life. And today, it’s at the heart of the work I do.

I’m Cynthia Clark— soul mirror, spiritual mentor, hand analysis expert and creator of Ascension17.

For more than 17 years, I’ve worked with over 8,000 people around the world, helping them recognize the gifts, patterns, and inner wisdom they may not have been able to see clearly for themselves.

One of the most powerful tools I use is the wisdom reflected in the hands. Your fingerprints, hand shape, and lines can offer an extraordinary mirror—revealing patterns that help you better understand who you are and how you’re moving through your life.

But I don’t believe your hands—or anyone else—should tell you how to live your life.

I believe the deepest guidance comes from within you.

My work is about helping you see yourself more clearly, trust what you already know, and have the courage to choose what’s right for you.

My Path to This Work Wasn’t Linear

From the outside, I looked successful. I owned a restaurant by the time I was 24, worked incredibly hard, and became very good at taking care of everyone around me.

But underneath all that accomplishment, I struggled with confidence, boundaries, and trusting myself.

I put my customers’ needs first. I put my husband’s needs first. I said yes even when something inside me had doubts.

Eventually, my life demanded that I start listening.

After a profound spiritual awakening, I discovered hand analysis—and something clicked. For the first time, I had a powerful mirror reflecting back parts of myself I hadn’t fully recognized.

At the same time, my personal life was changing dramatically. My 19-year marriage ended, the life I had known fell apart, and I found myself rebuilding.

What looked like an ending became the beginning of a very different relationship with myself.

Through meditation, self-inquiry, spiritual exploration, and the wisdom reflected in my own hands, I began to see the patterns that had shaped my choices.

I learned to listen to myself.

I learned to trust what I knew.

And eventually, I learned to choose myself.

That journey changed not only my life—it became the foundation of the work I do today.

The Meaning Behind Ascension17

As my own spiritual journey deepened, I began seeing the number 717 repeatedly.

I paid attention.

Following that guidance led me to what I came to understand as the 7 Aspects of Ascension and a timeline that became part of the foundation of my work.

That’s how Ascension17 was born.

Over the years, my understanding of ascension has continued to evolve. Today, I see it simply as growth—becoming more conscious, integrating what we learn, and allowing each level of awareness to become the foundation for the next.

We don’t leave behind who we’ve been. We build upon who we’ve become.

Today, I Help Women Come Home to Themselves

I work with spiritually aware women who have spent years growing, healing, learning, giving, and becoming more conscious—yet still find themselves questioning what they know or putting everyone else’s needs ahead of their own.

Through hand analysis, spiritual mentoring, intuitive tools, and the work I’ve developed through Ascension17, I help women:

See themselves clearly — recognizing the gifts, patterns, and possibilities they may have overlooked or dismissed.

Trust themselves deeply — learning to hear their own knowing beneath the expectations, opinions, and noise around them.

Choose themselves courageously — making decisions that reflect who they are now, rather than who they’ve learned they’re supposed to be.

Because this work isn’t about becoming someone new.

It’s about coming home to the woman you’ve become.

You Already Know More Than You Think

You don’t need someone else to tell you who you are or what your life should look like.

Sometimes you simply need the right mirror to help you recognize what has been there all along.

That’s the work I’m here to do.

To help you see yourself clearly.
Trust yourself deeply.
And choose yourself courageously.

If something in you is telling you there’s more for you— trust that.

You don’t have to know every step before you take the next one.

You only have to be willing to listen to yourself.

See yourself. Trust yourself. Choose yourself.

And come home to the woman you’ve become.
